FEATURE x Adidas: Hispanic Heritage Month With 'Heat Wav'
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we partnered with Adidas to honor and uplift the Hispanic creatives who continuously work within our communities. This collaboration celebrates the individuals who align with All Things Good by bringing their culture to life through their work, leaving a lasting impact. One of those creatives is Adrian Rios, a sports and music photographer from Scottsdale, whose influence reaches far beyond his camera lens. At our FEATURE x Adidas event, we were fortunate to witness the full breadth of Adrian’s contributions, not only as a photographer but also as a mentor and leader. Adrian’s journey is rooted in his rich Latino heritage, and that cultural pride shines through in everything he does, from capturing the energy of sports arenas to guiding the next generation of athletes in his community through his non-profit, 'Heat Wav', which supports young athletes by fostering personal growth and community engagement. His work doesn’t just document moments; it tells stories, inspires, and pushes others to dream bigger. Reflecting on the event, Adrian shared just how special it was to him: “This event was important because it not only celebrated Hispanic Heritage, but it was also the first time our basketball and flag football programs came together. Seeing the growth of our program was a surreal moment. Multiple parents expressed their gratitude, and the kids told me it felt like Christmas.” For Adrian, this event was a culmination of hard work, dedication, and the desire to uplift those around him. Adrian’s commitment to his community is reflected in his leadership of two youth sports leagues, supporting over 240 kids through basketball and flag football programs. With 10 dedicated coaches, the initiative goes beyond athletic training, focusing on building character, teaching life skills, and fostering a strong sense of community. His 'Heat Wav' non-profit platform provides mentorship and resources that help shape responsible, compassionate leaders for the future. At the event, we had the chance to gift all the kids Adidas and FEATURE gear, creating an unforgettable experience that went beyond the celebration of culture. The gratitude from parents and the excitement of the kids reminded us that this gathering was about building a space where the next generation can grow and thrive. Our partnership with Adidas was meant to inspire meaningful change, and with individuals like Adrian Rios leading by example, that change is already making a difference.
