Nike Basketball is getting into the Halloween spirit in a big way this October, assembling an extensive collection of signature footwear inspired by everything from childhood fears to classic horror movies.
The 2026 Halloween collection features ten footwear releases across ten athletes, with each design inspired by a specific Halloween costume and accompanied by its own mask that you can actually wear. Rather than relying on the usual black-and-orange color schemes, Nike leans into storytelling by developing individual lore for each release.
Among the standouts is Caitlin Clark’s Nike Caitlin 1 “Jinx,” which draws inspiration from a surprisingly personal childhood memory. The design references a neighbor’s cat that Clark was terrified of growing up, turning an old fear into the inspiration for her Halloween footwear.
LeBron James revisits one of his more memorable Halloween costumes with the LeBron 24 “Storm Drain.” Inspired by IT, the shoe references James’ 2017 appearance dressed as Pennywise, the terrifying clown made famous by Stephen King’s horror story.
Cade Cunningham takes things in an equally sinister direction with the Nike S.T. Charge, drawing inspiration from The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. The Texas native pays homage to one of the state’s most notorious fictional horror stories.
The accompanying masks add another layer to the collection, allowing each athlete’s Halloween character to extend beyond the footwear itself. It’s an entertaining approach that gives every release its own identity while tying the entire lineup together.
Nike Basketball’s 2026 Halloween collection begins releasing on October 23rd, with the remaining pairs arriving on a rolling schedule; see a full breakdown below.
Nike LeBron 24 “Storm Drain”

Halloween just might be LeBron James’ favorite holiday. The “Storm Drain” calls back to his Pennywise costume from 2017, with the pattern on the KingKnit upper referencing a social media post that went viral.
Nike Caitlin 1 “Jinx”

The Caitlin 1 “Jinx” may be dressed up as a witch, but it’s actually inspired by her childhood neighbor’s cat Jinx. Despite the cute name, Caitlin recalls being terrified of the feline.
Nike S.T. Charge Cade Cunningham

Texas native Cade Cunningham dons the Nike S.T. Charge in a macabre design inspired by the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Nike Zoom G.T. Cut 4 Victor Wembanyama “Halloween”

Wemby’s “Alien” alter ego returns on the Nike Zoom GT Cut 4; the pattern on the upper is inspired by an abstract interpretation of the Alien logo, itself appearing on the heel.
Nike Giannis Freak 8 “Trick Question”

The Greek Freak’s game embodies mystery and misdirection, lending to the Giannis Freak 8 “Trick Question” inspired by The Riddler.
Nike Book 2 “Scary Chapter”

Devin Booker looks back to his childhood, pointing to one of his favorite childhood horror movies for the Nike Book 2 “Scary Chapter”.
Nike A’Two “Potion No. 22”

The A’Two “Potion No. 22” takes on a “What The Halloween” approach, ushering in elements of Jason Voorhees, Candyman, Freddy Krueger, and much more.
Nike Sabrina 4 “Count Ionescu”

The Sabrina 4 “Count Ionescu”envisions the Liberty guard as a vampire, complete with fans, a blood-covered Swoosh, and a swarm of bats on the upper.
Nike Ja 4 “Zombie”

The zombie theme continues on the Nike Ja 4 with a distressed upper appearing like tattered clothes. Yes, these have glow-in-the-dark bottoms.
Nike KD 19 “Slim Reaper”

Kevin Durant eerie alter ego, the Slim Reaper, returns for the occasion. The upper of the KD 19 features a skeleton hand’s strewn throughout, continuing a tradition from a year ago.
