Reebok is giving one of its most recognizable basketball shoes a new purpose. Originally released in 1996 during Iverson’s rookie season with the Philadelphia 76ers, the Question Mid quickly became an important part of basketball and sneaker culture. The first Reebok Question Mid will arrive in the familiar “Red Toe” colorway. White premium leather covers the upper, while red accents appear on the toe cap, lace loops, heel, and midsole. Blue details on the Reebok branding and outsole complete the Philadelphia-inspired color combination. The second option, “30th Anniversary Green,” takes a different route with an all-green appearance. Optical Emerald covers the premium leather upper, while Lime accents appear on the branding and cushioning details.
Although the overall shape stays close to the original, the Recoded version features several performance updates. The upper has been reshaped to provide additional room in the toe box, resulting in a more accommodating fit. Reebok also brings back the signature Hexalite-inspired midsole windows, keeping an important design element from the 1996 release.
