In 2020, Brazilian-born beach footwear brand Havaianas transcended borders with its first partnership with mastermind WORLD, where the iconic Tradicional flip-flop was re-engineered to resemble the age-old Japanese zori sandal, resulting in an all-new silhouette named the Tradi Zori.This year, the two brands join forces again on a second limited-edition drop that treads a decidedly different path. Here, the urban slide is reimagined with mastermind WORLD’s distinctive skull-and-crossbones logo in high relief across the upper, while the wordmarks of the two brands adorn the lateral side. “This second drop combines comfort and style, and it is the first collaboration in which we feature the slide shape,” says Maria Fernanda Albuquerque, Havaianas Global Marketing VP. “Our first drop in 2020 was very special and we are certain that this one will be too, once again.”Available in discreet black or unmissable orange, the slides are expected to launch in May and will be available in Asia, Europe, and the USA in sizes ranging from BRA 35/36 to 45/46.
