The Nike Air Max 90 has been showing some early signs of a bigger moment ahead, but for now, the Air Max 95 remains the undisputed king of the Nike Air Max catalog. The model’s multi-layered construction is a big reason why, giving Nike a seemingly endless canvas to explore new colorways and material builds without the result ever feeling stale.

Here we have a new “Black/Grey Fog/Anthracite/Football Blue” colorway for men, distinguished by black patent leather at the top of the side paneling. The tongue and upper mesh netting match in black, while the lower panels execute a grey gradient in suede. Football Blue hits the Swoosh, tongue logo, and Air bubbles, while a white midsole and black outsole cap things off underfoot.
