School-inspired Nikes have been a dime a dozen since college football season kicked off in late August, from the “Mummy Duck” Foams and other standout Foamposite Pros to cleats and additional packs for the Air Force 1 and Air Max 97. Even so, it would appear there’s still room for some unofficial crossovers.

Here we have a Nike Air Max 90 “Michigan Wolverines” for Holiday 2026, indirectly aligned with the school via a balanced blend of Midnight Navy and Varsity Maize. The navy hue holds down the mudguard, upper eyestays, and Nike Air branding on the heel badge, while the midsole wedge, mudguard window, lower eyestay, and heel badge itself all sport Varsity Maize. The rest of the shoe borders on original color blocking with white mesh and a Photon Dust suede quarter, though an additional Varsity Maize hit on the Swoosh helps spice things up just a tad.

The Nike Air Max 90 “Michigan Wolverines” lands soon via Nike.com and select retailers, priced at $135 in men’s sizes. Check out official images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse more end of year pairs.
