Odell Beckham Jr. is back with the Giants for the 2026 season, and he is once again wearing No. 13. He wore No. 3 for part of the offseason before switching back ahead of Week 1, and he suits up against the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football, hosted at MetLife Stadium. It is the same building where Beckham’s diving one handed touchdown grab against Dallas became one of the signature plays of his career, back in November 2014.

Beckham has built a reputation over the years for lacing up some of the most talked about cleats in the NFL, mixing custom pairs, player exclusives and one off designs into his game day rotation. The most extensive stretch came during the 2019 season with the Cleveland Browns, when Nike designer Erin Cochrane and her team built Beckham a new pregame colorway of the Nike Vapor Untouchable Pro 3 OBJ Uptempo Cleat nearly every week, each one pulling directly from shoes already sitting in his personal sneaker collection. JustFreshKicks has tracked plenty of vault inspired reissues over the years through our sneaker release dates coverage, and Beckham’s cleat closet reads like its own retro rotation.

The Nike Vapor Untouchable Pro 3 OBJ Uptempo Cleat Design

A few of those weekly colorways stand out from the run. The debut pair took its color scheme from the 2011 Air Yeezy 2, and later weeks referenced the 2012 “Galaxy” Air Foamposite One with its outer space graphics, the LeBron 8 “South Beach” in teal, pink and black, and a Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 in “Dark Mocha” and “Sail” that saw the design team mirror the cleat’s OBJ lettering to nod to the reversed Swoosh on Travis Scott’s original pair. One week skipped the Nike archive entirely, dressing the cleat in a flooded brown built from the Browns’ own team color instead. Beckham also wore pregame pairs referencing the “Fresh Prince” Air Jordan 5 and the “Shattered Backboard” Air Jordan 1.

Why Is Odell Beckham Jr. Wearing No. 13 Again?

Beckham wore No. 3 for part of the 2026 offseason with the Giants before switching back to his familiar No. 13 ahead of Week 1.

Nike Vapor Untouchable Pro 3 OBJ Uptempo Cleat Release Information

The Nike Vapor Untouchable Pro 3 OBJ Uptempo Cleat was built as a player exclusive for Odell Beckham Jr. and was never released to the public. Nike rotated a new pregame colorway nearly every week of the 2019 season, each one inspired by a shoe from Beckham’s own collection, and none of those pairs carried a retail price or style code. There is no general release tied to this cleat, so the pairs covered here remain exclusive to Beckham’s game day rotation.
