adidas has a new collaboration featuring their NMD S1 launching this week, crafted with Chinese streetwear brand Hamcus, whose inspiration comes from future military dress and uniforms.
adidas Originals’ NMD S1 has been a focal point of their collaborations since its introduction in 2021, featuring projects with Pharrell, Philllllthy, and soon, Neighborhood. This week, a new contender has entered the ring, China’s Hamcus. The streetwear brand takes heavy inspiration from futuristic concepts of survival and military gear, using baggy cuts and technical materials to achieve their signature look. The Hamcus NMD S1 features a similar vibe, adding some technical elements to the shoe like a toggle laving system and metal grommet eyelets. The look comes in tonal olive, with splashes of black mixed into the knit upper for a darker look.
HAMCUS X ADIDAS NMD S1 RELEASE INFORMATION
Hamcus’ take on the adidas NMD S1 has been scheduled to release this week, on May 19th, 2023. The futuristic, military-inspired tonal look will be available via the brand’s website, as well as via the Three Stripes’ Confirmed app in China.
