Kith is gearing up to open their Toronto location this year, and has teamed up with New Balance for a two-pack of red and white colorways of the 1700 runner, each inspired by Canada’s flag.

Kith is opening a new retail location this year, marking their first foray into the international world for a Toronto storefront. Opening sometime this year, the occasion calls for a special product release commemorating the Canadian store, for which they’ve called upon their longtime partners at New Balance for a two-pack of sneakers inspired by the nation’s flag. Featuring the 1700, a personal favorite of Ronnie Fieg’s the shoe is cast in matching red and white color schemes. First up, a mostly-whtie pair adds bright red accents to the shoe’s mid layers and tongues, while the second douses the silhouette in red with minimal white hints throughout.

Kith’s upcoming release of the New Balance 1700 for the opening of their Toronto store has not been slated for release yet, though they are expected to release alongside the new location’s opening this year.
