PUMA, adidas, Nike, and really any brand with a connection to the World Cup have been in a full-court press regarding the upcoming showcase, spotlighting jerseys, collaborations, and of course, fresh footwear for the trilateral games this summer.

With the Swoosh, we’ve seen such a volume of product that various embraces have become plotlines in themselves, seen in the “Cryoshot” platform that adapted earnest performance wear with icy cages below took over our front page in 2025. Though perhaps not as attention grabbing, a Nike “Korea” pack now encompassing the Air Max 95 and Astrograbber has captured our imagination all the same. Built of refined brown leather with orange edges, the capsule now adds the Nike Air Max 90, pulling from Cristiano Ronaldo’s Mercurial Vapor 1 with its sidewall textures and redesigned tongue. Beyond the tie to a legend of the game, the “KR” logo that’s paced all the shoes we’ve seen so far appears in off-color royal blue at the heel.

The Nike Air Max 90 “Korea” and the surrounding collection should be touching down sometime in the coming weeks as Summer 2026 plays out.
