New Balance’s ‘Vintage Teal’ 990v4 Made in USA Arrives This Month

The New Balance 990v4 is the brand’s latest silhouette to join the Made in USA project under the direction of Teddy Santis, making its debut last Spring. Now, we have an early look at a ‘Vintage Teal’ style for the next seasonal collection, coming soon.

The fourth entry in New Balance’s famed 990 series first arrived on shelves in 2016, just four years after the v3 made its debut in 2012, and a whopping thirty-four years after the franchise’s original launch. The 990v4 was one of the first to fully embrace the line’s newfound secondary purpose as a lifestyle model, offering a wide range of colors and collaborations during its initial year. This year, the model returned to the brand’s Made in USA program, offering up a number of new styles with premium craftsmanship. This week, we got our first look at an upcoming ‘Vintage Teal’ style, which is set to arrive soon. The look features a full-leather construction, cast in the dark teal tone, with accents and black and white for a complete color palette.

New Balance’s next colorway of the Made in USA 990v4 has not been announced for release, though they are expected to launch sometime in late 2023. The tonal ‘Vintage Teal’ style will be available via the brand’s website as well as select retailers for $210.
