Matthew Williams’ Nike MMW 005 Slide Releases in Volt & Dark Khaki in June

Matthew Williams and Nike introduced their 005 Slide model last year, dropping the shoes in a small batch of colorways. Now, pairs in Volt and Dark Khaki have surfaced, releasing in June.

1017 ALYX founder Matthew Williams has been crafting some incredibly unique Nike footwear over the past few years. From the strappy MMW Free models to the Zoom 4, each new model has a distinct look, even the 005 Slide they introduced last year. Featuring a double layer midsole and about as much technology as you could possibly pack into a slip-on silhouette, the Slide provides an incredibly comfortable and fashion-forward option for lounging around. This week, two new colorways of the shoe were added to the Nike release calendar, bringing us a bright ‘Volt’ look as well as a neutral ‘Dark Khaki’ option. The former features a tonal volt upper with a black midsole, while the latter opts for a more unique coloring, mixing in shades of white and black.

The latest colorways of the MMX x Nike 005 Slide have been scheduled to release early next month, on June 9th, 2023. Arriving in a bright ‘Volt’ color as well as a neutral ‘Dark Khaki’, pairs will be available via the SNKRS app and select retailers, with the price tag of $190.
