After a quiet slate last week, we’re picking up once again.
When it comes to Kobe footwear, Caitlin Clark is only rivaled by Jalen Brunson in ability to move product, easily warranting the top honors for the Indiana Fever superstar this week. In a tacit summer tradition, the Jordan 11 Low isn’t far behind, revisiting its OG “UNC” for the first time since 2017. Mr. Bryant’s legacy additionally earns a full-day celebration, as the Kobe 11 returns in two colorways to commemorate his last game on April 13th, 2016.
Further down the slate, Nike SB drops off the Dunk Low “Som Tum” with a wide release and the Air Force 1 Low “Light Orewood Brown” in a skate-shop only drop, the NFL Crocs collab touches down with delivery #2, all four adidas signature hoopers notch at least one pair, and the Nike Mind family makes headlines for the umpteenth time with a restock.
Catch day-by-day breakdowns of everything coming in the next several days below. Hyperlinks attached to each gallery will lead back to our initial coverage of each individual release. There, you’ll find “Where To Buy” links (updated upon arrival) and deeper dives into what makes all of them worth paying attention to. We’ll continue to update this page with any late-breaking additions to the slate, but to ensure you stay totally in the loop, keep an eye on our Sneaker Release Dates and Jordan Release Dates landing pages.
April 12th starts the week off with Three Stripes hoops: the adidas Anthony Edwards 2 “Glow” lights up before the adidas Harden Vol.10 “The Marathon” nods to the connection between The Beard and the late Nipsey Hussle.
April 13th marks the 20th anniversary of Kobe Bryant’s final NBA game, and there’s a three-headed signature line-up for the occasion. The Nike Kobe 11 EM “Mamba Day” and Nike Kobe 11 Fade To Black, the latter worn by the legend on that fateful night, offer the first-ever Protro drops for his 11th. The Nike Kobe 9 EM “Steam” visits a shoe that’s been a frequent face with spring-ready hues.
April 14th closes the book on the Nike SB Dunk Low “Som Tum” with a SNKRS release. The same goes for the Tom Sachs General Purpose Shoe “Bricolage,” following its drop on Sachs’ site the week prior. The NFL Crocs makes it 30/32 franchises represented with 16 new colorways; the Giants, Ravens, Packers, Jets, and both Super Bowl participants are among the highlights. Finally, the Nike Air Max 90 “Ultramarine” flexes another cross-pollination effort between two Air Max icons, whereas the Vans Slip-On 98 “Knot” keeps up the playful streak that’s borne out the company’s current hot streak.
April 15th is no doubt the most jam-packed of the slate, beginning with the Caitlin Clark Kobe 5. Sticking with the ladies, the LABELHOOD Shox Z Calistra saunters in with red bottom swagger. The Nike V5 RNR “Jackie Robinson” and the Nike Jackie Robinson Cleats drop off this year’s homage to #45. We close out with a heavy dose of hoops; the Harden Vol. 10 “Lucid Aquamarine,” Dame X “Blue Burst,” and DON Issue 7 “Lucid Aquamarine” make it a busy day for the Three Stripes while the New Balance P400 “Afterglow” (literally) highlights New Balance’s latest innovation.
April 16th, in a story we’re now overly familiar with, is another chance at a Nike Mind 001 Restock as the Swoosh seeks to furnish the outsized demand for the slide style. Somehow second is the Palace Nike Air Max 95, bringing the London outfit to a silhouette revered in their home country. Two for NB continues the action: the New Balance 1890 “Boysenberry” and the “Vibrant Chroma” series (comprised of the New Balance 991v2 “Grenadine” and New Balance 991v2 “Limoges.”) The PUMA Speedcat Wedge closes out with two leather editions.
April 17th sees the Nike SB Air Force 1 Low “Light Orewood Brown” begin its wide launch with a skate shop release (to be followed by a SNKRS one next week.) The ASICS x Carnival GEL-Kayano 12.1 brings the Thai outfit to the Japanese giant’s hybrid formulation. And heartbreakingly, the adidas Bowling Shoes drops, but only for those in Japan.
April 18th is a one-and-done: the Air Jordan 11 Low “UNC” returns for the first time since 2017.
