Paris Fashion Week has increasingly picked up intensity as a can’t-miss event in the world of sneakers. What was once exclusively the territory of the big fashion houses now trickles down onto newswire via designer x sportstyle moments from a Nike or adidas, or even nods to once performance-only labels like Brooks or Saucony.

For their part, Vans is stomping into the mid-year showcase with a ton of confidence, now a mainstay on every media outlet’s feeds as their towering “Pearlized,” “Souvenir,” and associated series prove a “rising tide lifts all boats” proposition. On the eve of the festivities, the California company reveals that they enlisted three artists to bring their touches to the Slip-On for Paris Fashion Week.

For longtime readers, Mattias Gollin’s name likely stands out the most, building off of his catalog of bedazzled and distressed efforts with red and blue star-laden executions. The usual network of beads and charms that’s made past work such hot commodities remains; pre-dirtied pairs collide with pristine counterparts for a total of four distinct colorways. Vanna Youngstein, known for her embrace of Y2K fashion with crop tees and tanks, sticks in that realm with iridescent floral graphics and jersey-inspired text. Finally, Lorenzo Fioravanti closes out this set with airbrushed prints atop a tan/white Slip-On.
