Jame Whitner’s Whitaker Group is back with a new creation for their Do Not Duplicate series with adidas this week. The BW Army once again gets a mashup for this release, donning the sole of a Mundial football shoe for a summer-ready new silhouette.

The Whitaker Group’s partnership with adidas has become one of the most prolific projects of 2026. After rumors in the second half of 2025 about Whitaker joining forces with the Three Stripes, they officially announced their collaboration in February, alongside a massive collection of twenty-two sneakers to kick things off. New entries in the Do Not Duplicate series have arrived monthly since then, with their focus largely centered around the BW Army, a vintage adidas trainer back in the limelight for the past year. Stocked exclusively at Maniére, Social Status, APB, and JAIDE, the Whitaker Group x adidas DnD series is adding another member this week.

The latest in James Whitner’s experimentation with the BW Army brings some soccer inspiration to the silhouette. The vintage army trainer’s upper remains untouched for this release, but removed the standard cupsole in favor of tooling borrowed from the Mundial indoor soccer shoe line. This sole features a standard rubber through the heel and midfoot, with a partial cupsole around the toes for some extra support. Three colors of the BW Mundial are dropping this week, neutral black & cream colors with red and blue accents for the walls’ singular stripe, and a bolder blue leather look with navy blue accents and a gum brown sole.

WHITAKER GROUP X ADIDAS BW MUNDIAL “DO NOT DUPLICATE” RELEASE INFORMATION

The latest creation from The Whitaker Group and adidas for their Do Not Duplicate line, the BW Mundial, is scheduled to release this week, on July 16th, 2026. Raffles have already opened from three of the four member retailers, with all three colors avilable from each. Whitaker Group stores will be the only place to get this mashup hybrid of the BW trainer, with pairs priced at $160 each.
