Jordan Brand is bringing details borrowed from dress footwear to their Air Jordan 1 Low this season. The AJ1 has surfaced in a new “Soft Pearl” color scheme, with broguing added across the silhouette.

The Jumpman has an interesting relationship to ‘formal’ sneakers over the years. The Air Jordan 11’s use of patent leather was specifically designed to be wor with a suit or tuxedo, and they have delivered ultra-premium editions of their iconic shoes for more upscale occasions. This year, the Air Jordan 1 is getting this special treatment for Summer, bringing broguing details typically seen on dress shoes to the low-top version. This will not be Nike & Jordan’s first foray into brogue shoes; this year’s “Xuanwu” Air Jordan 6 used the perforated patterns, as have semi-recent Dunk Low and Air Force 1 styles. This take on the Air Jordan 1 is more subtle, coloring the entire shoe in a “Soft Pearl” leather build, with metallic gold accents for the Jumpman branding and lace tips. The perforated pattern is applied to the toe box and surrounding mudguard, as well as the shoe’s heel counters. Pairs will even come with a leather tassel keychain to complete the look.

Jordan Brand’s next foray into dress shoe styling has not been announced yet, but is expected to arrive soon in Summer 2026. The Air Jordan 1 Low’s “Brogues” edition brings broguing, a style of perforation used in formal footwear, to a Soft Pearl leather look, with metallic gold accents to complete the look. Pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $130.
