HAL Studio’s ‘Glacier’ Asics Gel-1130 Launches August 16th

Last year, HAL Studio released their take on the Asics GEL-1130, before following up with a second release in the Fall. Now, they’ve teased a new ‘Glacier’ white pair, coming soon.

Asics revived their 2008 GEL-1130 last year, delivering another retro runner at the right time, quickly becoming a sought-after silhouette in both sneaker and fashion worlds. Their collaboration with Australia’s HAL Studio took the model to a new high, with the ‘Smoke Grey’ and ‘Forest‘ pairs elevating the model. Now, HAL has teased a third pair in ‘Glacier’ white, coming sometime this year. This look features a white mesh base layer with off-white overlays in suede and leather. Hints of black leather appear on the toes, midfoot, and heels, while bright red rope laces complete the new look.

The latest release from Australia’s HAL Studio and Asics has not been announced for release, though we hope to see them drop sometime this season, possibly via preorder like the ‘Forest’ pair. The ‘Glacier’ GEL-1130 will likely release first from the retailer, followed by a wider Asics release for $150.
