Take a First Look at the adidas Harden Vol. 9

Although the newest iteration of James Harden’s basketball shoe, the adidas Harden Vol. 8, is gearing up for release this spring, the Vol. 9 edition has just surfaced. With the new images, eager fans are able to get a sneak peek at what’s to come.As a performance-oriented shoe, the Vol. 9 retains the same sleek design that comprised previous models. This model appears in a striking red and black colorway that is elevated by TPU wavy midfoot panels, which offer a slightly futuristic touch.A mix of materials, the inside features a black knit bootie with for a flexible, functional and breathable fit. Finishing off the design is a Boost-cushioned outsole. Its predecessor, the Vol. 8, also features a futuristic design that sees large oval-shaped foam cutouts that aptly accentuate the shoe's svelt design. Additionally, the shoe retained the same toe box and reinforced heel padding, which are elements that made their way to 2025's Vol. 9.Although a price and release date have not been announced yet, the shoe is most likely to arrive in 2025.
