Nike debuted their ultra-exclusive Atelier program this year, crafting bespoke apparel for select athletes. This week, the Swoosh announced Victor Wembanyama as their next featured athletes, with the Total 90 silhouette as his sneaker of choice.

The Atelier program from Nike is shaping up to be one of their most unique luxury lines ever. The series was introduced earlier this year, aiming to craft tailor-made apparel for some of the brand’s ultra-famous athletes. Jannik Skinner was the first to get a custom range of apparel, with the ACG Zegama as his sneaker of choice, followed up by Paris Saint-Germain’s Désiré Doué, whose Nike Merc Premium model went up for pre-order earlier this month. Today, Nike unveiled the next athlete in line for tailored goods, French basketball star Victor Wembanyama.

The announcement of Wemby’s Atelier line today seems to have been tied to the France/Spain matchup in the World Cup this afternoon, though that ended with his home nation being knocked out of the tournament in its final stages. The two seem related given the sneaker choice for this project, the Total 90 indoor soccer shoe that Nike has kept in steady supply for the past year. The collection features a woven jacket as its centerpiece, constructed from “a cotton yarn adaptation of material technology originally developed for Nike Football boots” according to Nike’s official announcement. The Total 90 has not been shared in its totality yet, but seems to feature a reworked upper with multiple layers of paneling, using snakeskin and smooth leather in an all Sail white construction.

The next collection from Nike Atelier is scheduled to release next week, starting on July 20th, 2026. Similar to their Désiré Doué collection, the sneakers and apparel from this project with Victor Wembanyama are expected to be available through a pre-order release from a small selection of retailers. The Total 90 indoor soccer shoe is the footwear of choice here, with a new construction for the upper and a clean all-white color scheme. Further details regarding the collection are scarce, but we can assume a much larger price tag for the sneakers, similar to past Atelier releases.
