New Balance has wasted little time exploring different creative avenues for each of its new lifestyle models. The New Balance 1890, already one of the most collab-heavy silhouettes of 2026, is here given a new “Linen Green” colorway that feels just as suited for the trail as the sidewalk.
Some might argue the 1890 has already gone the trail route via Action Bronson’s “Hornet Tusk” and “Planet Frog” collabs, but that’s besides the point. This “Linen Green” colorway works through a range of green to brown shades, including pine green synthetics on the forefoot, brown suede around the heel, and a light mossy color on the full-length ABZORB pods. The earthy palette is matched in spirit by pull laces, that being the lone trail-minded tooling change.
