Chalk it up to the “player empowerment era,” the rise of social media, or any far-flung justifications in between, but Nike is clearly turning more of the heavy lifting in rollouts over to their stars. Two of the brand’s most talked-about signature shoes, the Ja 4 and the Caitlin 1, demonstrate that fact; it was a training session dump that gave us our first look at the former, and a more curated carousel from the Iowa product that debuted the latter.

CC’s handle (as always) on the proceedings remains sturdy, as the Fever superstar took to her Instagram Stories to showcase a snowy white edition of her impending model. Again, the waves of “C” initials across the uppers are a standout in this application, with the pristine tonality in use there aligning well with icy traction underfoot and cobalt tones in the “CC” branding on the tongue and within the double Swoosh.

This marks the fourth colorway we’ve seen so far for the signature Caitlin Clark shoes, following the blue version that led the official announcement, a black (possible wear-test sample) worn by Travis Scott, and a Laney-like yellow-and-blue pair worn by the woman herself in recent in-game action.

No release info for the Nike Caitlin 1 in white has emerged just yet, but we’re continuing to count down to the silhouette’s debut at the very top of October. The $140 sticker price set for that pair will likely apply to this one, as well. Keep our coverage close by for official details as they surface.
