BSTN Adds the adidas Oregon Ultra Tech to the “OG With a Twist” Series

adidas’ Consortium partners have increased their collaborative output in this years, with the handshake branding back on sneakers en masse. This week, BSTN is dropping their “OG With a Twist” pairs of the Oregon Ultra Tech.

adidas collaborations are frequent, giving a wide range of brands, artists, and designers the chance to reimagine their expansive archive of footwear styles. However, the Three Stripes has an elite tier of partners through the Consortium label, who are given extra tools to alter and amend iconic silhouettes to their liking. All of these partners are retail stores, creating specialty sneakers to tell stories, often in relation to their home cities and communities. This week, Germany’s BSTN has unveiled their latest work with adidas, releasing this weekend.

BSTN is revisiting the “OG With a Twist” concept they initiated exactly one year ago, then featuring Handball Spezial. This week, the German store is giving the same treatment to the Oregon Ultra Tech, a semi-chunky high-performance running shoe originally released in 1982. The BSTN spin on the runner brings two elevated styles to the table, featuring premium laters of mesh and suede to construct the upper. The first pair comes in a white-based palette, adding its suede overlays in purple, light blue, and off-white. The midsole comes in a pre-aged yellow shade, with white Dellinger web applied on top. The second pair is less colorful, predominantly constructed in white and black with blue accents mixed in. Both styles feature the “OG With a Twist” branding on the tongues, and a toggle lacing system to complete the look.

The latest project from Germany’s BSTN store and adidas has been scheduled to release this weekend, on August 22nd, 2026. Revisiting their “OG With a Twist” concept that debuted one year ago this week, the team has cooked up two styles of the Oregon Ultra Tech for this entry. The retro runner will arrive in two colors, a white/black pair and a white/purple look, both available exclusively through BSTN’s stores and online shop for $190.
