Nike SB assembled an unexpected cast to celebrate the release of Yuto Horigome’s Nike SB Air Force 1. The Japanese skateboarding superstar takes center stage in a new campaign for his latest Nike collaboration, joined by fellow Nike SB riders Ishod Wair and Eric Koston alongside two particularly notable cameos: Devin Booker and Hiroshi Fujiwara.

The film begins with Horigome and Wair entering the fictional Vault 07, a mysterious laboratory filled with footwear experiments. After discovering a dusty shoebox tucked away on a shelf, Horigome opens it to reveal a sneaker inside. Wair blows away the accumulated dust, which Horigome unfortunately inhales.

This magic dust triggers a trippy, psychedelic experience where he suddenly finds himself transported to the desert, greeted by Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker. From there, he’s warped onto a subway train and comes face-to-face with Japanese streetwear legend and fragment design founder Hiroshi Fujiwara.

The strangest encounter might be when Horigome lands in a picturesque mountain valley surrounded by a flock of goats with the faces of legendary skateboarders Eric Koston, Elissa Steamer, and Paul Rodriguez; this is a not-so-subtle acknowledgment of the trio’s status as skateboarding’s GOATs. Eventually, the effects wear off and Horigome finds himself safely back inside Vault 07.

The surreal campaign arrives alongside Horigome’s Nike SB Air Force 1, which released at skate shops on September 12th with a wider release follows through SNKRS on September 15th.
