Nike just keeps adding more special releases to this weekend’s All-Star celebration in Los Angeles. This week, local artist Victor Solomon has unveiled his contribution, the “Trophies” collection featuring the Foamposite, Air Force 1, and Air Max 90.

Los Angeles is one of the sneaker capitals of the world, and Nike always shows out in force when it’s time to celebrate the City of Angels. This weekend, the NBA will descend on the city for their mid-season All-Star break, bringing three days of events, special releases, and collaborations. Nike is leading the charge with over a dozen special sneaker drops for the occasion, with more and more popping up every day. This morning, the local artist & designer Victor Solomon unveiled his contribution to the release lineup, a three-sneaker “Trophies” collection.

The Victor Solomon x Nike “Trophies” pack celebrates Los Angeles culture through three specific neighborhoods, each represented in sneaker form. First up is the Air Force 1 “Sunset Strip” which features cracked white leather panels, embroidered underlay panels, golden molded Swooshes to capture the luxury of the strip. Next, the Air Max 90 symbolizes LA’s Diamond District, using a jeweled Swoosh in silver set against a white backdrop for a stunning new look. Finally, the Foamposite represents the city’s beach culture, featuring intricate black patterns set on top of a white base. All three shoes feature metallic gold chains for laces, and other small details as nods to the city.
