The Air Jordan 4 gets a “Pink Thunder” Makeover for Fall 2026

The Air Jordan 4 is adding another new colorway to its lineup for 2026. Leaked this morning, the iconic silhouette will don the fan-favorite “Rust Pink” shade, reportedly mimicking the model’s “Thunder” color scheme from 2006.

Jordan Brand’s attitude toward some of their most iconic silhouettes has changed dramatically in the last decade. Instead of preserving the sanctity of early Air Jordan models, their MO for the prior 20 years, they’ve opened the floodgates for models like the 1, 3, 4, and 5. These releases have ramped up in frequency exponentially, with new styles dropping every month, all year long. This is not a bad thing, it just means there are far more options for iconic sneakers available to everyone, all the time. They even strike gold sometimes, iterating on iconic retro colors with a new twist. This is the case with a new “Pink Thunder” Air Jordan 4, reportedly releasing later this year. The look is rumored to mimic the color blocking of the black & yellow “Thunder” colorway, originally from 2006, by replacing the yellow hits with their Rust Pink shade.

The latest leak of a new Air Jordan 4 colorway says that this fresh colorway will arrive this Fall, on October 31st, 2026. This date is subject to change, as Nike and Jordan shift their release calendars throughout the year. The “Thunder”-inspired color blocking seen in these mockups is just a placeholder, and does not represent the final product. Pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $220.
