Vans and Travis Barker first linked up for a sneaker release last Fall, bringing together two titans of Southern California punk culture. Today, they’ve announced a follow-up release, a white “Dues Paid” Old Skool dropping next week.

In the early 2000s, Vans became a defining symbol of punk and alt-rock culture. Rooted in its skate heritage, the brand’s simple silhouettes like the Old Skool, Slip-On, and Era became everyday staples for fans of bands such as Blink-182, Green Day, and Sum 41. Vans’ sponsorship of the Warped Tour cemented its place in the scene, bridging music and streetwear. Last year, the SoCal icon linked up with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker in a special collaboration, bringing a mantra, “Dues Paid”, to the Old Skool through a simple black and white design.

This month, Barker and Vans are back with another installment in their “Dues Paid” series. The project once again delivers a neutral take on the Old Skool, reversing the color blocking of their initial release for a white, re-scuffed canvas look with black accents. Dues Paid is once again printed across the toes of each shoe in a gothic font, and barbed wire graphics wrap around the soles. On this new collaboration, Barker said; “My first pair of shoes was a pair of Vans,” says Travis Barker. “Growing up in Fontana, I always connected the brand to skateboarding, BMX, and punk culture. Once I started seeing my idols wearing them too, it really sealed it for me. To me, they were always the coolest shoes.”

The next collaboration from SoCal native Travis Barker and Vans is scheduled to release next week, on June 18th, 2026. Following up on their “Dues Paid” Old Skool from last Fall, the new pair comes in a white pre-scuffed canvas upper with black accents, a slip of the previous release. Stock will be available from both Vans and select retailers like Journeys.
