After a big celebration in 2025, the Nike Air Max 95 still has gas in the tank for the new year, with plenty of special colors and styles on the way. This week, we have an early look at an all-leather “Baroque Brown” style, coming soon.
Since its 1995 debut, the Air Max 95 has been reimagined by Nike hundreds of times in its 30+ year lifespan. Early Premium versions used richer suede and leather overlays alongside mesh, offering a more refined feel than everyday releases. Nike has continued this with special colorways like the Atlanta Premium in 2024, which combine luxe materials with city-inspired detailing. Collaborative and boutique-leaning takes, like A Ma Maniére‘s recent editions, have further pushed the silhouette into premium territory, melding upscale fabrics and subtle branding with the classic wavy design.
This season, Nike is rolling out one of their first premium editions of the new Big Bubble format, an updated version of the AM95 that returns to the shoe’s original design with added cushioning. Seen here in a “Baroque Brown” style, the pair constructs the shoe’s entire upper in rich, luxurious leather, using the color to further the expensive look and feel. The upper and tongues are doused entirely in the chocolatey shade, with off-white Coconut Milk for the soles and laces to spruce things up a bit.
NIKE AIR MAX 95 “BAROQUE BROWN” RELEASE INFORMATION
Nike’s new premium version of the Air Max 95 has not been officially announced yet, but is expected to hit shelves sometime in Spring 2026. The new style ditches most traces of the shoe’s running roots, opting for an all-leather build in a tonal “Baroque Brown” color. Pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $200.
