Nike is dipping into their more recent archives for rereleases of the Air Force 1. This week, news of the 2019 “Black Floral” colorway getting a retro emerged, complete with official images of the 2026 edition.
Air Forces are Nike’s bread & butter, a 1982 silhouette that has remained a constant in their catalog for over forty years. The model is a staple of street culture and fashion, and can be found on shelves all over the world, through special regional editions, new design approaches, and essential colorways like the triple-black and -white styles. This week, we have an early leak of a recent pair getting a retro, just seven years after its original debut. The “Black Floral” style released initially on Valentine’s Day in 2019, but is now set for another drop later in 2026. As you’d expect from the name, the look pits the AF1 in a triple black build, using printed leather panels for the main body with painting of various flowers across them.

Nike’s next retro of a recent Air Force 1 style has not been announced yet, but is expected to arrive later in 2026, likely during the Fall season. Originally from 2019, the “Black Floral” look is exactly that; a black base for the silhouette with painting of flowers across the upper, and some leather accent panels. Pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for an expected $115.
