The Crenshaw Skate Club x Nike SB Dunk Low Is "Coming Sooner Than Expected"

UPDATE, July 25, 2023: Tobey McIntosh's Crenshaw Skate Club x Nike SB Dunk Low has been doing the social media rounds for a number of months, but now the designer has confirmed the collaboration is "Coming SOONER than expected."Taking to his Instagram, the designer said:"Being able to work on an SB Dunk has been a dream of mine ever since I was a kid. My first pair of skate shoes was a pair of SBs that I took from my mom's closet. To say that 10 years later I’m collaborating with @nikesb on a Dunk is surreal. I started Crenshaw Skate Club in 2017 with the mission of empowering and shedding light on all inner-city skaters around the world due to the lack of representation in the skate industry. Now, we are able to spread our message and shed light on inner city skateboarding by way of @nikesb. Wow!! Thank you to everyone at Nike SB involved on this project, from start to finish you ALL made my dreams come true and brought my vision to life. Thank you to @garrett.labrie & @itsmamadou for all your help on this for the past year and a half."McIntosh also revealed a new set of shots taken by the photographer Tim Hans, which you can see above. Stay tuned to Hypebeast for more news surrounding the sneaker's official release date. UPDATE, June 6, 2023: Official images of the Crenshaw Skate Club x Nike SB Dunk Low have surfaced. The Nike photos reveal extra details about the shoes such as its two sets of graphic insoles, one of which comes treated with LA-inspired palm trees and skies while the other bears all-over heat map-like patterns. We also capture a detailed look at its grip tape overlays and playful branding on the exterior and interior sides of the tongues and the heels. Official release information should be surfacing in the coming months.ORIGINAL ARTICLE:Update: Arriving after Nike SB took shots at sneaker leakers, our latest preview of the Crenshaw Skate Club x Nike SB Dunk Low sees the mixed material shoe on-foot courtesy of YankeeKicks.
