Swarovski and Nike have significantly ramped up their collaborations in recent years, with new projects arriving every few months. Today, we have our first official look at the crystallized version of the Air Jordan 1 High, releasing in 2026.

Swarovski crystal-studded sneakers have become more and more common over the last few years. While the shoes themselves are delicate and require a lot of care to properly maintain, these glitzy, shimmering versions of our favorite sneakers are still cool to see. Nike has been at the forefront of these projects, releasing sparkling versions of models like the Air Max Plus and all three of Ja Morant’s signature shoes in just the last three years. Converse even joined in on the fun, and in May, Jordan Brand debuted their first iteration featuring the AJ1 Low “Shadow“.

Jordan Brand is returning for another take on the Air Jordan 1 in 2026, this time using the model’s classic high-top version as the canvas. The existence of this shoe was first leaked in 2024, but we heard and saw nothing further until this week, when the shoes began to surface in official retailer images from a few European stores. This AJ1 appears to feature a canvas construction, with heat welded overlays in odd patterns to add a bit more structure and support to the build. The Swarovski crystals are plentiful, placed strategically throughout the shoe. The combination of canvas and taped sections give it the appearance of layers being worn away to reveal the crystalline sections underneath.

SWAROVSKI X AIR JORDAN 1 HIGH RELEASE INFORMATION

The upcoming release of the Air Jordan 1 High loaded with Swarovski crystals does not have an official release date yet, but is coming early in 2026. The special pair features a crisp palette of light grey and white tones, with shimmering crystals covering nearly every panel of the iconic silhouette. Pairs will be available from select retailers as well as Nike’s SNKRS app, and will come with a hefty price tag of $1,005.
