The New Balance 2000 was conceived around the idea of “past-meets-future,” with the Boston brand taking a dated yet still relevant cushioning system and reimagining it through a modern lens. It’s not shy about that mission, standing out with oversized teardrop-shaped ABZORB SBS pods in the midsole that double as both cushioning and a defining visual element.

This latest colorway reinforces that identity with eye-catching teal accents underfoot, set to arrive during the Spring/Summer 2026 window. Outside of the teal hits, the rest of the look is about as standard-leaning as the model has shown to get. Shades of Castlerock, Dark Silver Metallic, and Faded Black rotate across the upper and midsole, spanning tight-knit mesh and layered synthetic detailing.
