The Stranger Things collection by Nike is one of the hottest drops in December. As the show just aired Volume 1 of Season 5, which will be a three-part series, it will wrap up the show. Moving forward, we have another pair dropping from the collection: the Stranger Things x Nike LD-1000. This pair will represent Erica Sinclair.
This Nike LD-1000 features shades that allow it to stand out, like Fuchsia Dream, Viotech, Black, and Opti Yellow. Essentially, the pair is covered in shades of Purple, with a lighter shade on the mesh panels and a darker hue across the toe, eyestays, and heel, while constructed of suede. Furthering the look, Yellow lands on the Swoosh logos and heel overlay. From the outside, what’s unique is the upside-down Nike branding on the tongue and heels. Tucked away, we have Stranger Things branding on the inside of the tongue and insoles. Other details include a White midsole and a Black waffle rubber outsole.
Each pair comes with vintage packaging resembling what Nike used in the 1980s and Stranger Things pins.

Bottom Line
I haven’t watched Stranger Things since season 2, but these drops make me want to catch up. As for the LD-1000, it’s decent in my opinion. Not something I would run to grab or line up, but if I saw them at outlets, I would definitely grab. However, that won’t happen as the pair will be on the limited side. So it looks like I won’t be able to own this pair, but good luck to those going after them.
