Fans of Stranger Things probably already binged-watched Season 5, Volume 1, which aired on November 26th. While there is some time before Volume 2 airs, Nike Sportswear will have you covered with its upcoming Stranger Things pack. One upcoming release is the Stranger Things x Nike Air Max 1, available in December.
This pair represents Steve Harrington, who wore this pair in the new season. The overall design resembles the original color blocking, but is a different hue from the OG “Sport Red” iteration. Instead, we have Team Maroon used on the mudguard, Swoosh, top eyelet, and other branding throughout. Neutral Grey appears in traditional locations, like the panels and around the heel, while White covers the toe and ankle.
Connecting to Stranger Things, the Nike branding on the tongue and heels is upside down. On the insoles and inside of the tongue is the Stranger Things logo. Each pair comes in vintage-style packaging and pins that represent the show.

Bottom Line
While this Stranger Things collection isn’t as creative as some of the past drops, I do like the Air Max 1. It features simple color blocking, reminding me of original pairs. This makes sense, as Stranger Things is set in the 1980s, the same decade the AM1 was released. If it weren’t for the upside-down branding, you wouldn’t know this pair is a Stranger Things collaboration while wearing it.
