Solebox’s ‘Neapolitan’ adidas Rivalry Low Releases October 28th

Berlin’s Solebox is back with another adidas Consortium collaboration this month, taking on the Rivalry Low basketball shoe and giving it a fresh color scheme inspired by Neapolitan ice cream sandwiches.

adidas’ Consortium division has made a quiet return to form this year, issuing some exciting new projects in recent months. Today, Solebox announced their latest with the premium collaborations team, working on a fresh pair of the Rivalry Low in a ‘Neapolitan’ ice cream sandwich theme. The color scheme is relatively simple, but boasts premium materials and attention to detail for an excellent finish. The Solebox Rivalry begins with a tumbled leather base in white, with pale grey suede layers added to the forefoot and heels. The shoe’s lateral side stripes come in a chocolate brown shade, while the medial sets come in soft pink to represent the strawberry ice cream. The Consortium metal eyelet is present at the throat of the shoes, while ice cream sandwich-inspired packaging completes the special release.
