Earlier this year, on February 15th, the release of the Air Jordan 1 High 85 “Black White” sparked a debate among sneaker enthusiasts, with many referring to it as the Air Jordan 1 High “Panda.” While this nickname hasn’t been universally adopted, it has certainly caught on among a significant number of fans.

In a move that mirrors the strategy of NSW, Jordan Brand is set to release the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG in a “Reverse Panda” theme for Spring 2024. While the exact color placement and materials remain under wraps, we can expect the pair to closely resemble the Nike Dunk Low “Reverse Panda” that was revealed last year. This would mean an all-leather upper color blocked in black and white.

UPDATE 10/16/23: After leaking several months ago, we now have an early in-hand look at next year’s Air Jordan 1 High Black/White, AKA the ‘Reverse Panda’. The initial mockup from ZsneakerHeadZ was spot on, showing the shoe’s white toes, heels, collars, and Swooshes over a jet black base. Additionally, a release date of February 24th, 2024 has been leaked, but will likely not be confirmed until the new year.
