Social Status Announces Its Nike Attack “Silver Linings” Collaboration

John McEnroe's signature Attack silhouette is relishing in the limelight right now for its first-ever retro run. And after tapping Travis Scott to help reintroduce it to the public, Nike is now moving on to other collaborative partners to help amplify its legendary lore, the first being Social Status. The James Whitner-led retailer has four colorways on deck, and its "Silver Linings" iteration will kick things off this month.The kicks serve as a component of Social Status "The 1st & 15th” story which focuses on encouraging others to make the most out of every opportunity that's presented to you and making choices to shape your future. From a design standpoint, the kicks are styled with a minimalistic approach. Mesh uppers and their accompanying cracked leather overlays are done up with white and off-white finishes while silver hits apply to the laces, collars and lower heel overlays. Swooshes have tear-away capabilities and conceal a dusty orange layer for extra flair.
