Rich Leather Covers The Nike Cortez “World Make”

Despite a lackluster 50th anniversary, the Nike Cortez has stayed in the spotlight months after 2022.

Recently, the brand’s marquee running sneaker from 1972 emerged in high-quality ensemble courtesy of the “World Make” platform. As stamped on the insole, the initiative takes silhouettes “Designed for sport” and delivers versions “Crafted for life.” The latest Cortez – a women’s-exclusive – appears with vachetta tan-reminiscent panels all throughout the upper. Other Nike Sportswear offerings have featured similar builds in the past, fetching high retail price tags and providing customers with a personalized sneaker experience. Profile swooshes take on an ornate pattern, while sockliners opt for cork material. Underfoot, the serrated sole unit keeps things simple in white and beige, complementing the patina-ready upper.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, and anticipate a nike.com launch soon.
