It was a banner ’25 in the world of Pharrell Williams across all categories; assisting the Clipse in production of their comeback effort, seeing the retro wave embrace his Reebok Board Flip anew, and, of course, pushing the adidas Jellyfish into broad consideration for the ever-inescapable Sneaker of the Year conversation.

As the adidas XLG 2.0 begins to populate shelves, expanding the borders of Williams’ influence ecosystem further in the Three Stripes catalog, the adidas Jellyfish proper is reloading. First seen and released at ComplexCon in Las Vegas, official images of the adidas Jellyfish in “Royal” have now surfaced, an indication that a public release is on the way. This aquatic affair largely relies on the same script from the ones that have hit public hands already, utilizing the techy formula of a neutral base and vibrant interplay in the trim, here, of course, centered on that titular “Royal.”

However, Pharrell has continued to signal further steps in the Jellyfish story through various public appearances, debuting an all-black and a “Tan/Blue” towards the end of 2025. With those against-type editions in the chamber, you can argue that this is the last of this sort of “default” arrangement before more rangey ones take hold on the Williams signature.

The Pharrell Williams x adidas Jellyfish in “Royal” is currently slated for a February 1st release via CONFIRMED, checking in with its usually elevated $300 sticker price.
