Yet more than 20 years into the sub-brand’s journey, we’re finally at the point where some of their most lasting designs have enough daylight between their initial debuts that retro bring-backs aren’t out of the question. Paul Rodriguez, as one of the brand’s first faces, has been a stalwart along that journey, the first to reach double digits in his signature line, so the Nike SB P-Rod 1’s re-emergence has been a natural starting point throughout 2025 and 2026.
You’d have to cut back all the way to this time last year for our first look at the Nike SB P-Rod 1, revealed in a look-ahead preview video by the man himself. Now flexing its official images suite, the shoe feels right on time, a “Wheat” style revamp with flooded suede uppers that threads the needle between seasonal style and staple skateboarding aesthetics.
The Nike SB P-Rod 1 “Light British Tan” remains on track for a Fall 2026 debut, placing it sometime before the end of September. Be ready for the standard $135 retail price.
