OAMC Brings Their Minimalist Touch to the Salomon XT-Quest

Salomon is off to a hot start in 2026 with collaborations. Yesterday Ronnie Fieg teased an upcoming release from Kith, and today Parisian label OAMC has unveiled their take on the XT-Quest runner, releasing tomorrow.

OAMC, the Paris-Milan menswear label founded by Luke Meier, has built a distinctive sneaker collaboration history by teaming with respected footwear brands to reinterpret classic silhouettes through its utilitarian, tech-driven lens. Early on in 2019, OAMC partnered with adidas Originals on the Type 01 and 02 sneakers, blending archival tooling with futuristic, functional details. More recently, OAMC has broadened its collaborative footprint beyond adidas, working with Vans and WTAPS on rugged Sk8-Hi and Seylynn lugged silhouettes in 2025.

This week, OAMC has announced their first release for 2026, teaming up with fellow French brand Salomon for a the first collaboration between the two. The project will see the Pairs-Milan brand interpreting the XT-Quest silhouette, a model first introduced in the late 2010s as a new addition to their trail running line. This fresh take on the model decks out the shoe in premium materials, opting out of Salomon’s usual synthetic appearance and using real leather on the all-black colorway.

The debut release from Parisian brand OAMC and Salomon has been scheduled to release this week, on January 15th, 2026. The blacked-out style of the XT-Quest features some silver metallic accents, and will be available directly from Salomon’s website tomorrow morning, for $210.
