The next two weeks are huge for Nike, with the Super Bowl this weekend and NBA All-Star next week. Tons of sneakers are showing up for both occasions, and today the GT Future has emerged in its “Warning Label” look for the 2026 All-Star series.
Earlier this week, Nike’s Basketball division unveiled their latest in a long line of special All-Star releases. For decades, Nike designers have used the mid-season break to premier special sneaker projects, often through their signature athletes participating in the annual weekend celebration. Early on, these pairs were largely restricted to player-exclusive colors, which would not release to the public, until the 2000s when All-Star editions became phenomenons. Now, the Basketball team releases annual collections uniting their main silhouettes under a unique style. This year features a range of models, with the all-new GT Future silhouette leading the pack. Unveiled at last year’s All-Star Weekend but not available to the public until just a few months ago, the GT Future is essentially a next-generation Foamposite. The “Warning Label” look comes in a metallic silver upper, with a color-changing finish applied on top.
