Nike’s “Dark team Red” Colors the Latest Air Force 1 ’01

After a slow rollout over the summer with collaborations and the classic triple white, Nike is pulling out all stops for the Air Force 1’s remastered ’01 variant. The model lands in “Dark Team Red” this Fall.

The remastered 2001 Air Force shape is here to stay, if Nike’s upcoming release lineup has anything to say. Originally replaced by the 2007 update nearly two decades ago, the AF1 ’01 is often cited by longtime fans and collectors as the pinnacle for the iconic sneaker’s shape and construction, thanks to premium leathers and a slimmer toe box. After its disappearance in the late aughts, Nike has kept the beloved version under wraps, until it surprisingly reemerged through a Nigo collaboration in May. Following some other special projects, including the full slate of Victor Victor colorways, an NYC pair for the Knicks‘ win and the reveal of the Cracked Patent pack, early looks at a number of in-line styles have emerged, now including a “Dark Team Red” edition of the show. The new look joins the College Navy and Light Army in their simplicity, offering up another Fall-ready look with its moody red shade and white accents.

NIKE AIR FORCE 1 ’01 “DARK TEAM RED” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s latest pair of the Air Force 1 ’01 silhouette does not have a release date yet, but is expected to land sometime soon in Fall 2026. The new “Dark Team Red” color scheme mixes the namesake red shade with white accents, and is among a batch of upcoming standard-issue styles. Pairs will be available through both Nike and select retailers for $130.
