In fact, there are several China exclusives that have grown to mythical status largely because pairs rarely ever appear in the States, but that’s about to change this Holiday 2026 season.

We’re learning via sneaker release source @zsneakerheadz and Sneaker Files that 2013’s Nike Kobe 8 “Shanghai Fireworks” aka “Spark” is set to release this Holiday 2026 season. It’ll bear the same fiery electric pattern on the mesh upper above the low-top silhouette that many hoopers consider to be among the best-performing Kobe signature shoes ever.

As mentioned earlier, these dropped exclusively in China in 2013, but will release globally for the first time in history for $200. Much of Kobe Brand’s release catalog will include these forgotten classics sprinkled among new styles for the modern Kobe fan.
