Sometimes in sneaker design the experimentation is so radical that it just happens to work. Last year, Nike kicked off an Air Force 1 mini-series built around seasonal-inspired takes featuring floral shrouds, the print and underlying colorway shifting to align with the season. Following “Autumn Leaves” and “Cherry Blossom” looks, we’ve now made our way to summer with an all-new “Sunflower” edition.

The shroud features vibrant yellow sunflower graphics, complete with semi-cutouts that mimic the flower’s edges. While the other two seasonal Forces featured suede on the actual sneaker, this one goes a different route with khaki and beige canvas. The Swooshes opt for white leather, while brown gum soles cap off the design underfoot.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Sunflower” doesn’t have a firm release date yet, but pairs have already begun arriving at retailers overseas. See detailed pics below if you’re interested in copping.

In related news, Nike is bringing back the Air Force 1 in its 2001 shape.
