Nike Applies Black Reptile Leather to the Terminator Low

The Nike Terminator Low is poised for a string of releases this year, after the 1985 shoe first reappeared in its high-top version early this year. This week, we got our first look at the ‘Black Reptile’ premium Terminator Low, coming soon.

The 1985 Nike Terminator is back this year, reviving another classic basketball shoe for the modern day. Released in the same year as the legendary Air Jordan 1, the two shoes’ similarities can’t be overlooked, but the Terminator still stands on its own with unique color blocking and oversized Nike branding across the heels. This week, we have an early look at a new upscale edition of the low-top version, which dresses the shoe’s in a clean ‘Black Reptile’ look. The pair features a solid white leather base layer, adding a black crocodile leather overlay to the forefoot, Swooshes, and lacing system. As an added touch, the leather’s edges appear painted in gold. Further details include a leather sockliner for more of a premium feel, and simple Nike branding on the tongues.

NIKE TERMINATOR LOW ‘BLACK REPTILE’ RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s upcoming premium release of the Terminator Low has not been announced for release, though they are expected to release sometime later this season. Dressed in jet black reptile leathers, pairs will be available from both the SNKRS app and select retailers for $130.
