Nike Air Force 1 “Year of the Dragon” Releases February 1st

Nike’s Year of the Dragon collection is around the corner, celebrating Lunar New Year with reptilian-themed sneakers. The project kicks off this week with the Air Force 1 Low.

Nike annually releases a collection celebrating the Lunar New Year holiday, typically developing a number of sneakers united by a theme of that year’s Zodiac calendar animal. 2024 marks the Year of the Dragon, and already we’ve had early looks at the Air Jordan 1 Low for the project, as well as a women’s pair of the AF1. Now, a men’s style of the Air Force 1 has joined the collection, releasing this week. The shoe features a leather upper cast in sail white, which also covers the shoe’s nylon tongues and inner lining. Swooshes come in a textured reptile leather and backed by a vapor green outline, while embroidered mini Swooshes come in bright blue. Other dragon symbology appears on the red tongue labels and heel labels, while a themed lace dubrae completes the look.

Nike’s annual collection celebrating the Lunar New Year is set to begin release this week, celebrating the Year of the Dragon. The Air Force 1 from the collection is set to release on February 1st, 2024. Dressed in sail white leather with red, green, and blue accents, pairs will be available from Nike for $135.
