New Balance’s release of the Made in UK 991v2 have been nonstop since the shoe was introduced late in 2023. This week, another excellent color scheme has joined the brand’s upcoming slate of releases, dressing the silhouette in a “Raven” color scheme.

The New Balance 991v2 rewrites a classic from 2001 into a modern performance-lifestyle sneaker, marrying heritage styling with contemporary tech. Its upper blends pig-suede, mesh and synthetic overlays in premium “Made in UK” form. Underfoot, the 991v2 ushers in full-length FuelCell foam for a propulsive ride, while retaining hallmark ABZORB SBS pods and ENCAP cushioning for stability and comfort. The silhouette also broadens the toe box slightly and lowers the heel drop, improving wearability for everyday use. Since its introduction, the v2 has been a regular part of New Balance’s seasonal offerings, with new colors arriving every few weeks.

Today, another fresh style of the 991v2 has surfaced for a release late in 2025. The latest pair brings a wealth of Fall and Winter-ready tones to the silhouette, mixing in a few pops of color here and there. The “Raven” pair begins with a jet black mesh underlay, adding its leather mid layers in a warm shade of olive green. The pigskin suede outer shell comes in a smooth Magnet grey, seemingly a favorite amongst New Balance’s color team, while adding more black to the branding, laces, and N logos. Finally, a vivid purple shade brings a bit of color to the linings and Abzorb cushioning in the sole.

The latest styles of New Balance’s 991v2 silhouette do not have a set release date yet, but will roll out soon during the Holiday 2025 season. Seen here in a “Raven” style, this pair Magnet grey with black, olive green, and pops of bright purple. Pairs will be available from both NB and select retailers. As usual, the Made in UK model will cost $250.
