Kith is back with another Marvel-themed collection, this time celebrating sixty years of the X-Men franchise. Teaming up with Asics, seven colorways of the GEL-Lyte III represent seven of the quintessential X-Men.

Last year, Kith broke necks with their hugely popular Spider-Man-themed projects, celebrating sixty years of the iconic web-swinger through apparel and accessories. Now, they have unveiled another anniversary celebration for a Marvel property, this time honoring sixty years of the X-Men through a special release with Asics. Featuring a collection of seven colorways for the GEL-Lyte III, each pair represents an iconic character from the franchise. Yellow, black, and red for Wolverine, and a near-identical pair with blue accents for the whole team. Cyclops is next in a blue build with minor yellow, accents, while Beast gets a full shaggy blue suede pair with white hits. Rogue is represented in her classic green and yellow, while Storm gets a simple white, grey, and black style. Finally, Gambit rounds out the project in tan, pink, and red. Paired with some collector’s cards form the ’90s, this release is expected to be a blind box drop, meaning you won’t know which character or color you get until they arrive in person.

Kith’s latest project with Marvel, this time collaborating with Asics and their legendary GEL-Lyte III, has been scheduled to release later this month, on July 28th, 2023. Expected to be a blind box release, you won’t know which of the seven colorways you’ll get until they arrive. Pairs will be available exclusively from Kith, with a likely price tag of $150.
