Introduced in 1988 as an offshoot of the 990, the Made in USA New Balance 996 has become a staple of any collector's rotation, with its latest example the soon-to-be-released "Pink Haze" example.This particular 996 features light pink premium hairy suede, tonal cream-colored mesh and heel cap, with subtle touches of white at the heel, laces and midsole, as well as the laces.Branding details include a prominent grey suede "N" logo, complemented by a thin panel in the same shade.
