Is Lil Yachty responsible for the recent patent leather Nike Air Force 1 wave? Not quite. That finish has been a staple among collectors since the early 2000s, though Yachty certainly tapped into that era’s appeal with his “Lucky Green” collab from around this time last year. Since then, it’s been a steady stream of teasers: a croc skin iteration, straightforward black-based pairs, and even a Mid nodding to 2006’s legendary All-Star Weekend release, all arriving with little clarity on what’s actually set to release. Now we have a first look at another potential drop, this one more likely to materialize than its peers.
The design aligns with a recent report from our sister channel KicksFinder, which points to a Lil Yachty x Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Opti Yellow/Black-Black-Clear-Metallic Silver” releasing Holiday 2026. A video captured by @flacko_9four shows a black leather build with yellow and green contrast stitching, complete with Yachty’s Concrete Boys branding at the heel. It’s currently unclear if the sneaker shown here is that Holiday 2026 release, especially given the volume of apparent PE pairs floating around in the Lil Yachty x Nike sphere.
Needless to say, this is a development we’ll be tracking closely. We’ll circle back with updates if and when more details emerge.
